Welcome! I am an applied microeconomist in the finance department at the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business.
My research interests center around housing markets, with active projects on the local impacts of ridesharing, estimating housing supply elasticities, the rise of institutional landlords, and how affinities for housing impact wealth formation.
I received my B.S. in economics from Duke University in 2011, after which I worked as a research assistant in the capital markets function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I graduated with my doctorate in Applied Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 2020, and was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the NBER for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years, with the Economics of Transportation in the 21st Century initiative.
